New Baby En Route, No Job and New Blogs

In the summer amist raising little Amelia, working 60 hours a week and playing house, we found that we had a new baby on the way. By the time we got the news (baring itself in the form of insatiable hunger then verified by a First Response) my part time gig had become full time and the blog had fallen by the wayside, as has Toastmasters, the garden, dining in 95% of the time and leisure with the family.

Late October I was "workforce reduced"...... and everything came to a screeching halt. I was unemployed, not by choice this time, 6 months pregnant and entirely unsure how to "step off the ride". Of course, the first thing that needed to be done was to check the books.

We took a deep breath, scrutinized the budget and made a plan. The job market is tough for everyone right now, let alone for someone who is goign to be in real labor before Spring. So we had to make a plan for potential long term unemployment.

So here I am again, looking for ways to save money, stretch the buck and create a happy home!!!!! Coming really soon....Saving Dough!
